Meet Dr. Giselle
Dr. Giselle is a Doctor of Chiropractic as well as a Licensed Acupuncturist with a gentle, thorough approach to help move women and families out of chronic stress and pain.

That’s when everything shifted.
I decided to study acupuncture and Chinese medicine so I could offer the same kind of comprehensive, whole-person support to others — especially women navigating hormones, pelvic pain, fertility journeys, postpartum recovery, and stress they can’t just “push through.”
Now, my work blends chiropractic, acupuncture, herbs, and movement into an approach that gently nudges the body back toward what it’s designed to do:
adapt, regulate, and heal itself.
I’m not here to “fix” people — I’m here to help them feel better, understand their bodies, and create the conditions where real change is possible.
At Lumira, my intention is simple:
to give women and families the support, clarity, and nervous-system safety they’ve been missing — so they can finally feel like themselves again.
MY story
I grew up around chiropractic care — both of my parents are chiropractors — so from a young age I watched people walk into a room uncomfortable and walk out feeling a little more at ease. I loved seeing what was possible when someone received the right support at the right moment. It felt natural to follow that path myself.
But once I was in chiropractic school, I started to notice something important:
people weren’t just dealing with joint dysfunction or muscle tension.
There were deeper patterns — stress, hormones, nervous-system overload — especially in women. And nothing in traditional musculoskeletal care fully addressed that.
Meanwhile, I was going through my own experience.
I had struggled most of my life with irregular cycles, painful periods, and the chaos that followed when I came off birth control. I felt disconnected from my own body, and the care I received never really looked at the full picture.
Acupuncture changed that for me.
It didn’t “fix” me — it helped my body finally respond, regulate, and find its own balance again. It gave me a sense of understanding, steadiness, and control I hadn’t felt in years.

The Lumira Approach
My work blends chiropractic, acupuncture, herbs, and movement into a gentle, nervous-system-centered approach that supports your body instead of overpowering it.
I believe care should feel:
• warm
• collaborative
• informed
• never rushed
• and always respectful of where your body is on that day
What you can expect in each session:
• A calm, grounding environment
• Space to talk about what’s actually going on
• Gentle, targeted hands-on care
• A whole-body lens: hormones, stress patterns, posture, digestion, and more
• A plan that adapts as your life changes
